BREAKING NEWS: What President Daryl Morey said about Philadelphia 76ers new signing.

PHILADELPHIA – August 31, 2024 The Philadelphia 76ers’ President of Basketball Operations, Daryl Morey, revealed today that the organisation has signed Max Fiedler. The terms of the agreement were not released, as per team policy.

Fiedler most recently played two games for the 76ers at the NBA 2K25 Summer League in Las Vegas, averaging 2.0 points and 2.5 rebounds.

 

Fiedler played five collegiate seasons at Rice between 2019 and 24, averaging 9.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.

 

The Florida native finished his college career as Rice’s all-time leader in rebounds (1,144), assists (571), field goal percentage (65.8%), games played (148), and games started (135), as well as second in total blocked shots (125). During his last season with the

Fiedler set NCAA Division I history by becoming the first player to accumulate 1,000 career points, 1,000 rebounds, 500 assists, 100 blocks, and 100 steals.
