The British Columbia Lions have signed former NFL draft pick Larnel Coleman, who was dismissed by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers following training camp earlier this year.
The Miami Dolphins selected the 6-foot-6, 310-pound offensive tackle in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He spent his whole rookie season on injured reserve and appeared in one game in 2022, largely on the practice squad.
The native of Malden, Massachusetts, was claimed by the Carolina Panthers midway through the 2022 season and spent the remainder of the year with them before being released towards the end of training camp in 2023.
In December 2023, the 25-year-old signed with the Houston Roughnecks of the XFL after being draughted by the Birmingham Stallions. gets the eighth overall pick in the 2024 UFL dispersal draft. He was discharged earlier this month. Coleman was a three-year starter at the University of Massachusetts, starting 12 games at right tackle as a redshirt sophomore in 2018 and 16 games at left tackle as a redshirt junior and senior in 2019 and 2020.
