Minnesota Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards Gets Criticism From Former 4-Time NBA All-Star

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards recently faced flak for comments criticising the older generation of NBA players lacking skill outside Michael Jordan, which put him on Rasheed Wallace’s radar.

In the most recent episode of The Sheed & Tyler Show, the one-time NBA champion expressed his feelings regarding Edwards, stating that he still has a long way to go before being regarded one of the league’s elite, particularly because of his defence.

“I like Ant-Man too, but here’s my thing: at this point in his career, in my opinion, he’s not better than Derrick McKey,” he remarked. “He isn’t better than Grant Hill. He is not better than Scottie Pippen. Do you understand what I am saying?

“I’m discussing both sides of the issue presently. You are aware that Derrick McKey was a defender. He is not a defender. “He’s improving, but he’s not that defender yet,” he said. How Michael Jordan became great: 'Nobody will ever work as hard'
