Despite the fact that the transfer market closed last month, the team is prepared to make another deal.
According to Jack Guaghan, Wrexham are set to finalise the transfer of Josh Adam after he was released by Manchester City earlier this summer.
He is likely to sign a two-year contract with Wrexham after being on trial there.
Speaking after Wrexham’s 3-0 victory against Shrewsbury, Phil Parkinson mentioned the 20-year-old, calling him a’real talent’.
He stated, “At the time, we will work with what we have.
“We have some good players who haven’t figured it out yet, so we don’t want to bring someone in just for the sake of it.
“We’ve had young Josh Adam from Manchester City on trial. He is a player we would like to keep because he has tremendous quality, but we don’t need another senior player competing for a place right now.”
Adam, who began his career at Celtic before going to Manchester City, drew interest from Lille and Club Brugge last year after
showings at the youth level.

Parkinson’s team, which has won back-to-back promotions, has made a flying start to this season’s League One campaign.
They’ve won four of their first five league games and scored 11 goals in the process.
