Three Indiana Pacers players named in HoopsHype top 100 NBA players list

Ahead of the 2024–25 NBA season, HoopsHype has announced their list of the top 100 players. Three players from the Indiana Pacers are featured in the project.

The authors Frank Urbina and Raul Barrigon created the rating, which is intended to project the top players for the next season, ranked from first to 100th. That one particular season is the main subject.

Tyrese Haliburton, Pascal Siakam, and Myles Turner are the three projected players from Indiana who are ranked in the top 53 on the list.

Turner is ranked 53rd, one position behind Darius Garland and one ahead of Jrue Holiday. The fact that those two were All-Stars in the past demonstrates how much Turner’s reputation has improved. He has existed

this number has consistently been in the top 100 lists for many years, and it has continued to do so well into his upper 20s. He will soon enter a contract year.

Siakam is positioned for an All-Star selection if he lives up to his ranking as the 25th-ranked player and the 11th-best in the Eastern Conference. After being acquired by the Pacers in January, he played a fantastic role for the team, averaging 21.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. In the postseason, he excelled even more. Indiana will be a difficult team to beat throughout the season if Siakam plays at that level.

It makes sense that Haliburton, who was selected to the All-NBA Third Team the previous season, is placed as the 12th player. The Pacers great was more influential than this figure when he was at his best; in 2023–2024, an injury derailed his season. He can go up this position if he can maintain his health this year. The leader of Indiana is ranked fifth in the Eastern Conference.

The two other blue and gold starting quarterbacks, Aaron Nesmith and Andrew Nembhard, were left off the roster. T.J. McConnell, Obi Toppin, or Bennedict Mathurin did not do so either. You can view the complete ranking of the top 100 here.
