‘Minor injuries’

Wiltshire Police have verified that a biker and a car driver were both involved in the collision on Whitehill Way in West Swindon this morning.

The two casualties sustained minor injuries.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We responded to a road traffic collision shortly before 10 a.m. today (August 18) on Whitehill Way in Swindon involving a car and a motorcycle.

“Both the motorcyclist and the driver of the car received minor injuries.” 11:31am

Another eyewitness stated, “I passed past shortly after it happened; a biker was knocked off, and paramedics were attending to them at the time.

“The car’s driver’s side was completely smashed in.”
