‘Minor injuries’
Wiltshire Police have verified that a biker and a car driver were both involved in the collision on Whitehill Way in West Swindon this morning.
The two casualties sustained minor injuries.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We responded to a road traffic collision shortly before 10 a.m. today (August 18) on Whitehill Way in Swindon involving a car and a motorcycle.
“Both the motorcyclist and the driver of the car received minor injuries.” 11:31am
Car and motorcycle are involved.
According to an eyewitness, a car and a motorcycle collided.
Another eyewitness stated, “I passed past shortly after it happened; a biker was knocked off, and paramedics were attending to them at the time.
“The car’s driver’s side was completely smashed in.”
However, Wiltshire Police have not yet confirmed this.
The B4534, which runs alongside the Link Centre and Pizza Hut, has finally been removed and is open to traffic. 11:23am
