BRAKING NEWS: Mike McDaniel hinted at a potential quarterback move for the Dolphins this week.

Skylar Thompson is hurt, and Mike McDaniel won’t tell when he will return, but he isn’t ruling out his backup quarterback for now. The Miami Dolphins’ head coach is also aware of a concern at quarterback, regardless of whether Thompson is well enough to play.

McDaniel informed the reporters that Thompson is “day to day.” Thompson suffered a chest injury during Sunday’s game against the Seahawks. During a recent press conference, Miami’s head coach did not reveal many specifics. He did not rule out Thompson playing on Monday night, but he admitted there is a problem. In fact, McDaniel also stated that Tyler Huntley may start against the Titans.

Regardless of when he plays, the Dolphins must take care of themselves, and while Huntley may be unfamiliar with the system, he has more athleticism, experience, and promise than Thompson and Tim Boyle combined.
