As part of a multi-year agreement, the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA) have announced Robinhood as their jersey patch partner.
Contract: Sioux Falls, the franchise’s G-League affiliate, and the franchise’s uniforms will both have the Robinhood logo. The Skyforce Fintech brand is expected to receive significant exposure on various social media platforms and Heat communication channels.
The worldwide partnerships division of Klutch Sports Group negotiated the deal.
Setting:
With a one-year, multi-million dollar deal, Robinhood takes over from Carnival Cruise Line as the Heat’s jersey patch sponsor. Financial parameters for Robinhood’s deal were not disclosed.
In addition to working with Klutch to secure its first deal with the Washington Wizards last year, Robinhood has now inked three NBA jersey patch agreements at the same time. It is also the jersey patch sponsor of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) Washington Mystics. John Vidalin, executive vice president and chief commercial officer of The Heat Group, commented, “It’s no small thing to share space on the front of a Heat jersey and we are delighted to do so with Robinhood.”
“We’re committed to helping Robinhood grow their business across Heat Nation and welcome them with open arms to the South Florida market.”
Coming next:
Fans of the Heat can buy new jerseys for the 2024/25 season with the Robinhood logo, ahead of their season-opener against the Orlando Magic on 23rd October.
