Police have detained two individuals following an incident involving a car and a motorcycle that left a man in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Emergency services, including Wiltshire Air Ambulance, responded to the site on Cricklade Road in Swindon shortly before 12:30 BST on Friday.
Wiltshire Police said a 17-year-old man was detained on allegations of causing severe injury by dangerous driving and possessing an offensive weapon.
A 44-year-old male has also been arrested on suspicion of helping an offender, and both are still in police custody, the force said.
Police said the man was brought to the hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
According to police, the 17-year-old suspect faces additional charges of affray and theft of a motor vehicle, as well as suspicion of driving without a license or insurance.
A van collapsed in a dramatic accident in Swindon town centre.
At before 9 a.m. today (Thursday), emergency services were called to a two-vehicle traffic incident on Faringdon Road.
A grey Vauxhall Insignia collided with a white van at the crossroads with Milton Road, forcing the van to tip onto its side. Police and ambulances are on scene, however no one is reported to have been seriously harmed in the incident.
There are traffic backups in the vicinity as 999 crews work to remove the vehicles from the road.
