Sydney is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and I believe [event manager] Fredrik [Johnsson] and his colleagues have chosen an excellent location for the next chapter of ROC. “All of the drivers who had the opportunity to compete in ROC fall in love with the event because it reminds us of why we started racing in the first place: pure competition, and there are no excuses with identical cars. I will do everything I can to help Germany win another ROC Nations Cup title with Mick on Friday evening, but I will not be doing him any favors when we go for the outright victory on Saturday night, especially since he beat me in the individual ROC semi-finals in Sweden in 2023!”Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher returns confirmed as icons get back behind the wheel | F1 | Sport | Express.co.uk

Schumacher, Mercedes’ current backup driver, seems as excited about the thought of competing at ROC. He added: “Australia is one of my favorite destinations, and representing Germany alongside Sebastian at ROC Sydney will undoubtedly be a lot of fun.

“After finishing second in the individual ROC in Sweden in 2023 and in the ROC Nations Cup at ROC Mexico with Seb, the goal this time has to be the overall winners trophy both in the ROC Nations Cup on Friday night and in the individual Race of Champions on Saturday.”
