The FA has sanctioned Huddersfield Town’s head coach Michael Duff and goalkeeping coach Andy Quy for misconduct.
In the 2-1 defeat at Rotherham United on August 31, referee Sebastian Stockbridge showed both players red cards.
The defeat ended the Terriers’ unbeaten start to the League One season.
Quy was ejected, allegedly for time-wasting, before Mallik Wilks’ late victory for the home side, and with Danny Ward already sent off for Huddersfield in the Yorkshire derby.
Duff also saw red after the final whistle when he approached Mr Stockbridge.
Both individuals were prosecuted last week and were sentenced today after confessing “that they had acted in an improper manner”.
Duff was suspended for one match and fined £1,000, while Quy received a £500 punishment.
