Danny Röhl detailed the reasons for Anthony Musaba’s absence from Sheffield Wednesday’s goalless draw at Swansea City on Tuesday evening.
A sluggish encounter ended goalless, with Wednesday failing to convert great chances to set up assaults into actual opportunities, prompting Röhl to show his frustration. Jamal Lowe and Svante Ingelsson were brought in to replace players on the front line.
The Owls were without Musaba, their leading scorer in 2023/24, who Röhl said was expected to start against Swansea. The German coach revealed the 23-year-old had incurred an injury, but he was expected to return when Wednesday travel south to Portsmouth for a televised Friday evening match.

“He has a small injury from the Burnley game, he had a knock,” Röhl told The Star. “It would have been risky to take him today because we know we have a very busy agenda. I am very sure he will.
