Police Remove 2 Fans For Wild Behavior Before Texas-Texas A&M Rivalry Game

The No. 3 Texas Longhorns and the No. 20 Texas A&M Aggies will meet off in an in-state rivalry game as the 2024 college football regular season concludes. Thousands of Texas A&M and Texas fans have turned out for this rivalry game in College Station, including a pair who broke campus regulations with some wild antics. Two fans were ordered to leave campus prior to kickoff on Saturday. One man rode a horse. Another person was riding a Longhorn steer with his dog on the back. “University Rule Violation – PA 68. A man was riding a horse, while another man and his dog were on a longhorn. “Agreed to leave campus,” Texas A&M Police said on X

The Lone Star Showdown returns to Kyle Field on Saturday night in primetime for the first time since 2011. Texas leads the all-time series, 76-37-5, dating back to the first game in 1894. Tensions are high before start. As the two teams warmed up at Kyle Field, workers from both schools got into a pregame brawl.

“I think it’s so cool that we’re playing this game again,” Texas coach Steve Sarkisian said about the rivalry game earlier this week. “But the key to the drill, as I just told the players, is: okay, we’re all thrilled. Everyone wants to win next week. What are we doing today? How do I prepare for that now, after I finish speaking? Because I believe preparation is What causes a positive performance. “I think it’s fantastic for college football that this game between us and them will have far-reaching consequences beyond what’s going on in Texas.
