The NFL has announced that Baltimore Ravens player will be suspended for three games without pay.

The Ravens traded for the WR just before the deadline, but his role has been limited at best in recent weeks. The Baltimore Ravens announced on Wednesday that WR Diontae Johnson has been suspended one game for conduct detrimental to the team after refusing to take the field against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Johnson may have said, “No thanks” to Cooper DeJean’s pile drive of Derrick Henry.

It’s more likely that Johnson didn’t want to play because he would rather the Ravens release him. Johnson was dealt to the Ravens right before the deadline, but the wide receiver hasn’t played much in Baltimore’s offense since then. He was only targeted once against the Chargers, and twice in the two games before that. If preserving your body is your first priority, the Eagles’ defense and physicality would be enough to keep you on the sidelines.NFL Fans React To The Baltimore Ravens' Suspension Decision - The Spun
