JUST IN : Justin Jefferson brazenly likens the Vikings to a college team that is unbeatable.

With a 12-2 record heading into Week 16, the Minnesota Vikings are currently one of the best teams in the NFL whether people like it or not.

All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson has been a big part of the success experienced by the Vikings this season, and recently he compared Minnesota to the 2019 LSU Tigers team that he helped win a National Championship.

While speaking to reporters on Thursday, Jefferson shared how this season’s Vikings squad is similar to the LSU team that didn’t lose a single game in 2019.

It’s crucial to spend time with your coworkers. The most crucial element is just developing a rapport with your colleagues, the individuals you fight alongside.

It was the same at LSU when we won the National Championship in 2019. How the group came to be. Together, we accomplished everything. The way we spent time together, the respect we showed for one another, and the way we simply carried one another. That is unquestionably significant.Minnesota Vikings off to best start since 2016 NFL season

Everything else will fall into place once all of the guys are on the same page and prepared to go to any lengths to defend each other. Big plays will come, turnovers will occur, and the wins will pile up.

You have those men you trust and who you know will support you no matter what when that crisis strikes. You want that championship team in your building.

Once everyone is on the same page and willing to do whatever it takes to protect one another, everything else will fall into place. There will be big plays, turnovers, and a ton of victories.

When that crisis arises, you have some men you know will always be there for you. That championship team is what you want in your building.

Seattle’s fervent supporters have made the team’s home stadium an extremely hostile place for rival teams over the years, and Jefferson discussed what the Vikings will be facing this weekend on Thursday.

It makes me think of a buffalo. Just the effect that the crowd has on the team and even us the crowd behind us. It’s always tough.

I’ve heard plenty of stories about Seattle and their fan base and the way they come and how loud that place really is.”

Hopefully, Minnesota’s top receiver will be able to continue the success he’s had during the last few weeks on Sunday in Seattle, as he’s averaged seven catches, 101 receiving yards, and one touchdown reception in his last three games.

This season, the Seahawks defense has given up at least 100 receiving yards to six opponents, so Jefferson will undoubtedly try to become the seventh on Sunday.
