Oregon Ducks fans have been looking for something to cheer about since the Rose Bowl against the Ohio State Buckeyes began on New Year’s Day. The 13-0 Ducks, who had just won the Big Ten conference championship, were defeated 41-21 by the Buckeyes, ending their season in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinals.
Dan Lanning and the Ducks have been highly active on the transfer site, which has resulted in several significant arrivals for the 2025 season.

Texas State players might all play significant roles for the Ducks next season. In terms of portal transfers, Oregon lost three four-star players. The players are wide receiver Ryan Pellum, cornerback Kamari Terrell, and quarterback Jaron Keawe Sagapolute. Pellum and Terrell received very little playing time in 2024, and Sagapolute did not even appear on the active roster.
Sagapolute is a class of 2025 recruit who switched from California to Oregon on National Signing Day in December. After less than a month, he changed his mind and is returning to California.
