DONE DEAL : Cincinnati Bengals sign ex-Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker

The Cincinnati Bengals have signed Craig Young, a former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker, to a futures contract, the organization announced. Young spent the last few weeks on the Bengals’ practice squad, after being released by the Steelers in November.

Young will now get the opportunity to show what he can do in training camp. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker tested well coming out of college, indicating athletic potential that the Bengals will aim to capitalize on.

Young, a former Ohio State and Kansas linebacker, spent the summer with the Indianapolis Colts after being undrafted in the 2024 NFL draft. The 23-year-old from Fort Wayne, Ind., has yet to participate in an NFL game.
