Ryan Day Had Very Short Answer When Asked About Lou Holtz Ahead of CFP Title Game

Ohio State and Notre Dame will face off in the CFP national championship game next Monday night in Atlanta, and one of the underlying storylines involves Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day and former great Fighting Irish head coach Lou Holtz.

In case you forgot, the two had a small squabble last season, which concluded with Day shouting out Holtz on national television after Ohio State won a thrilling road game over Notre Dame. The day before the game, Holtz stated that Day’s teams lost important games because they were not physical enough and predicted that Notre Dame would defeat them.

Day was questioned about Holtz during a CFP championship game press conference on Sunday, and if he had cleared the air with him since that night last season.Ryan Day Had Very Short Answer When Asked About Lou Holtz Ahead of CFP Title Game
