This week’s Ohio State recruiting stops include a 5-star prospect who has already committed elsewhere. As reported on Bucknuts Morning 5 on Thursday and documented in an article, Ohio State Director of Recruiting Strategy Nick Murphy has been recruiting for the Buckeyes in the Greater Atlanta Metropolitan Area.
The Greater Atlanta Metropolitan Area, as well as the entire state of Georgia, is brimming with talented high school football players, and the Buckeyes prioritize recruiting in that region.
Murphy attended Buford High School, one of the country’s premier prep schools, and is home to several players to whom the Buckeyes have awarded scholarships, including 2026 defensive lineman Bryce Perry-Wright, 2026 safety Nassir McCoy, and 2026 linebacker CJ Sibley. Murphy made several other stops.
