The Texas Longhorns are entering the Arch Manning era after three years with Quinn Ewers managing the offense. Following the 2024 college football season, in which the Longhorns were defeated by the Ohio State Buckeyes in the College Football Playoff semifinal, Ewers declared for the 2025 NFL Draft. Ewers helped the Longhorns to a 13-3 record, including a 7-1 mark in SEC play. Following the announcement, Ewers stated he had signed with Sports Stars, his draft agency. During the 2024 college football season, Ewers had 31 touchdowns and 3,472 yards with a 65.8 completion %. Ewers finished his three-year Longhorns career with 68 touchdowns and 9,128 yards, completing 64.9% of his pass attempts. As a starter for the
Longhorns, he guided the team to back-to-back College Football Playoff berths, finishing his collegiate career with a 27-9 record.
