GOOD NEWS : Georgia Gets a positive News on Projected $2.8 Million Star Quarterback

Jared Curtis, a top 2026 quarterback prospect, has dropped his verbal commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs. However, the Bulldogs are still very interested in signing Curtis.

According to On3’s Steve Wiltfong, Georgia is one of Curtis’ two final college football recruiting schools.

“I think there are times where Curtis really sees himself playing at Oregon and they’ve been the leader as of late,” tweeted Wiltfong on Monday. “The connection with offensive coordinators Will Stein and Dan Lanning, the Ducks’ performance over the last three years, and the program’s trajectory are all exciting.

“But the regular communication with Georgia, the caliber of players the Bulldogs recruit and consistency of the program along with the proximity and the love his family has for the school are some of the reasons why they’re still very much in this going into the next two visits.”
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound signal caller, who On3 projected to have a $2.8 million NIL value, will travel to Eugene, Ore., over the weekend of June 6.Georgia loses commitment of heralded 2026 five-star QB Jared Curtis

But Georgia will receive the final visit. The Bulldogs will host Curtis in Athens, Georgia, the following Saturday.

According to the 247Sports aggregate rankings, Curtis is the top quarterback prospect in the 2026 class. Curtis is also regarded as the No. 2 overall prospect in the whole class.

Wiltfong noted that the Bulldogs had an advantage due to their proximity to Curtis’ house. The quarterback will attend Nashville Christian School in Tennessee for his senior year of high school.
