During Spring Training, the Atlanta Braves player spent some time playing catch with a visiting fan.
The Atlanta Braves fulfilled a child fan’s wish earlier this week.

James, a young Braves fan with cystic fibrosis, played catch with Atlanta’s famous outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. earlier this week. The Atlanta Braves Foundation announced on social media that James and his family will also attend Spring Training to meet other team members.

“Today, James and his family came out to @cooltodaypark to fulfill his dream of seeing a Spring Training game and playing catch with @ronaldacunajr13! During his visit, James was able to meet the players, observe batting practice, run the bases, and get his baseball cards signed, according to the Atlanta Braves Foundation on Instagram. “James is 7 years old and wants to be the first-ever Braves player with Cystic Fibrosis.”

The social media post features James posing with Acuña and talking with other players on the pitch. They also shared a photo of James with signed baseball cards of Orlando Arcia and Travis d’Arnaud.
