Clark found out about the offer at the same moment as everyone else.
During the WNBA offseason, Iowa Hawkeyes superstar Caitlin Clark finally responded to Ice Cube’s $5 million offer to play in his Big3 league, and while she did not rule out the possibility, her coach termed the concept “crazy”.
Clark, 22, informed the journalists during Friday’s press conference that she received the offer at the same time as everyone else. The Hawkeyes guard is presently focusing on the NCAA Tournament and has already declared eligibility for the 2017 WNBA draft.
“Yeah, to be honest, I learned about the Big3 at the same moment you all did, and my primary concentration is simply on playing basketball. “I think that’s the most important thing,” Caitlin added. “More than anything, my goal is to win these two games, and that is exactly how it should be.
I don’t really talk about those topics with anyone. I have other people who deal with it, and they have not mentioned it to me. My primary attention is on this team and helping us find a way to defeat Colorado and possibly win another.
Lisa Bluder wants Caitlin Clark all for herself.

Hawkeyes head coach Lisa Bluder termed Clark’s decision to join the Big3 “crazy,” but she also didn’t want her star player to miss March Madness for a chance to play with elite WNBA players on the Olympic team.
“We haven’t even discussed it, to be honest. It has nothing to do with us right now. “Let’s not even discuss it,” Bluder replied. “She did tell me about the invitation she received for USA Basketball, but she hopes she does not attend.
“We all hope she isn’t there next weekend. But she was invited, and she told me about it.”The other stuff is just crazy.”
