Emilus became the fastest Canadian in club history to reach 1,000 yards; Hall of Famer Ray Elgaard achieved so in his third season. Emilus is also the fifth Canuck to reach the mark, following Elgaard, Jeff Fairholm, Chris Getzlaf, and Andy Fantuz.
Emilus recorded 10 catches for 165 yards in 15 regular-season games as a rookie.
