QPR are now leading Derby County and Portsmouth in a race to sign 20-year-old Celtic star

Derby County, Portsmouth, and QPR are investigating the Celtic player.
Three EFL clubs are reportedly interested in signing Celtic player Bosun Lawal.

Derby County, Portsmouth, and QPR are among the clubs that have been impressed by the powerful star’s League One performances at Fleetwood Town. Despite being relegated to League Two, the 20-year-old has excelled in defensive and midfield roles, with the majority of his outings coming at centre-back. Lawal has six points and two assists.

He’ll return to Celtic in the summer to try if he can force his way into the Parkhead lineup. However, The Sun reports that Derby County and Portsmouth are interested following their promotion to the Championship. However, it is QPR who are currently ‘leading’ the pursuit.
Charlie Adam, the Cod Army manager, has been impressed by the Irish youth prospect, who he believes has abilities that few in the Championship possess. He stated in January, “Unfortunately, Bosun is not our player.

“While he is here, he is our player, and he has provided us with a solid foundation in terms of size and physicality. How he dribbles, touches, and passes the ball. That type of midfielder is uncommon in the English Championship, let alone League One.

“So he’s got a great future. He works for a large football team called Celtic. We are fortunate to have him at Fleetwood, and in the following months until the end of the season, we will return a stronger player than when he arrived.”
