The Wigan Warriors have loaned Sam Eseh and Tiaki Chan to Castleford Tigers and Hull FC, respectively, on short-term terms.
Both players will go to The Jungle and the MKM Stadium on two-week contracts, with the Tigers and Black & Whites battling at the bottom of the Super League league.
Wigan’s head coach, Matt Peet, has now justified his choice to loan away both players.
“It is game time. They both deserve to play in the Super League and are training for it. It allows them the outlet to get fit but show what they can accomplish and be as best prepared as they can if and when
“We need to call them,” Peet added.
“I’m looking forward to watching them play in the Super League. Sam will make his debut for us this season. We know what his strengths are; he applies himself very well. I am convinced that he will have long-term success here. He is a young player looking for the proper opportunity.
