According to the E&S, many fans had a 17% increase, while some children’s tickets increased by up to 176%.
The common perception is that the rises are absolutely unjustifiable, considering the club’s stagnation, lack of investment by the owners, and the current cost of living problem.
Many have condemned the season ticket price increase as tone-deaf, believing it will drive away the most faithful Wolves fans.

We’ve seen what fans can do in football. The projected Super League’s failure a few years ago is an excellent illustration. This is on a lesser scale, as it just involves one club. However, it is just as unpleasant to Wolves supporters as it was before, and plainly, some are prepared to oppose the decision.
