Alisha Lehmann has arrived at the airport as her “holidays begin,” with the Swiss celebrity reportedly flying to the United States to watch lover Douglas Luiz.
The Aston Villa forward’s WSL and international career has come to an end for 2023-24, allowing her to enjoy a summer break. She won’t compete again until July, when Euro 2025 qualification resumes.
Lehmann aims to make the most of his leisure time and has already visited another departures lounge. The 25-year-old has returned to her home country to spend time with friends and family, as well as compete in a weird kind of vehicle football.
It’s unclear where she’ll go next, although she’s likely to visit America at some point. This is because partner Luiz is planning to compete in the 2024 Copa América alongside Brazil.
Lehmann and Luiz have already visited South America after finishing their respective domestic campaigns at Villa, and they could soon reconnect in the North. They will be able to spend time together once Brazil’s quest for continental glory in the United States concludes.
