Sheffield Wednesday target has already explained why he’ll love playing for Danny Rohl

A Sheffield Wednesday transfer target may have already stated why he’ll enjoy playing for Danny Rohl.

Sheffield Wednesday appear to be closing in on their first signing of the 2024 summer transfer window, and a few more might follow in quick succession. The Owls have numerous names on their radar, and more names are being linked ahead of what looks to be a busy preseason.

Danny Rohl has been tasked with rebuilding the first-team squad following years of bad transfer strategy. He must also guarantee that the Owls have the depth and talent required to avoid a repetition of last season’s performance.

That may be easier said than done, with stars like Di’Shon Bernard certain to leave this summer.

and with Sheffield Wednesday expected to face stiff competition for several of their transfer targets.
The latter is already the case with names like Ike Ugbo, Ian Poveda, and Yan Valery, all of whom are needed at Hillsborough for the upcoming season but have other offers.

Lowe, 27, has had a difficult four-year spell with Sheffield United, with injuries restricting him to just 51 first-team games.

However, during that period, Lowe had nine assists and one goal. He has also spent time on loan with Nottingham Forest, where he contributed four assists in 23 outings.

Lowe is certainly a full-back who enjoys going forward and creating. He also loves to play for a straight-talking management.

In 2022, after making his return to the Sheffield United XI under Paul Heckingbottom, Lowe highlighted how he prefers working for a more ‘honest’ manager.

He stated: “I would always rather play for a manager that’s up front and honest because you know what you’re going to get from him and he knows what he’s going to get from me.”

Lowe’s comments may make him a great match for Rohl, and vice versa, as Rohl is a straight shooter.
