As reported yesterday, an improved proposal for winger Eom Ji-sung appears to have been sufficient to gain the services of the striker, who comes recommended by another former Swan, Ki Sung-yueng.
It has been reported that the former Swans midfielder was asked for his opinion by his former employer and offered the Swans’ presumably new player a great recommendation, which was enough to encourage us to pay a seven-figure price for his services.
Sports Seoul reported this morning that the move has been negotiated, and while the original fee is estimated to be €1.2 million, there is also said to be certain sell-on options inside the transaction, which will see Gwangju get a share of A future contract.
