The Celta Vigo talisman is set to sign a £25 million loan deal from the Spanish club before making the move permanent. Now, Norwegian broadcaster TV2 has published details regarding the 24-year-old’s deal, including how long he will stay at Molineux.

According to the source, the striker ‘has agreed’ to a five-year contract with Wolves, with an option for a further year extension.

TV2 stated that the transfer will be an initial loan, as predicted, but the specifics are regarded as’more of a formality’.

It’s going to be a busy week at Molineux, with Lima and Strand Larsen due to be introduced as O’Neil’s new signings.

Celta Vigo were eager to sign the Norwegian from Dutch club Groningen in the summer of 2022, after Strand Larsen impressed in the Eredivisie.

During his tenure in the Netherlands, the striker scored 36 goals in 71 appearances, earning him the nickname ‘very interesting centre-forward’ from talent scout Jacek Kulig. Last season in La Liga, the 24-year-old scored 13 goals, which piqued Wolves’ attention in what may be a great acquisition for O’Neil.
