BREAKING NEWS : Gabe Osho sends shocking message to Luton Town supporters

Gabriel Osho confirmed his exit from Luton Town via social media Wednesday night.

With the player’s contract expiring at the end of last month, his future at Kenilworth Road appeared dubious for a while, despite the fact that he played a significant role for the Hatters during the 2023/24 season.

He played a significant role in guiding the team to the Premier League, where he had several memorable moments, scoring against Arsenal and Newcastle United.

He had some difficult moments at Kenilworth Road, but he accomplished enough to justify his stay at Luton.

It was announced in May that the Hatters were engaging in talks with Osho regarding a new deal, but the two parties were unable to find an agreement in the end and the central defender will now be an attractive centre-back option for a number of Championship teams. Sheffield United were one side believed to be in the mix for the defender, but it doesn’t seem as though a move to Bramall Lane is imminent at this point, with the Blades’ interest being reported way back in mid-June. But with Chris Basham and John Egan being released, as well as Mason Holgate leaving following the end of his loan spell and Anel Ahmedhodzic reportedly being made available for a move away from Bramall Lane, sealing

Move for Luton Town man would give Aston Villa more competition at the back

An agreement for Osho could be a nice idea. It’s unclear whether Chris Wilder will play a back three or a back four next season, but he’ll need to address his center-back position in the coming weeks, hopefully before the season begins.

They will have a severe shortage of choices in this area until signings are made.

Gabe Osho’s farewell message for Luton Town supporters
During his time with the Hatters, he has watched them develop from a bottom-half Championship squad to a top-flight club. They may have been relegated at the conclusion of last season, but Osho has been a key figure in Luton’s recent success, and it’s no wonder that his goodbye message was heartfelt. He took to X yesterday night and wrote: “I adore you guys so much! Thank you for everything over the last three years 😭🧡. I hope to see you all soon 🎩 @LutonTown.

Rob Edwards and Luton Town will be sad to lose Gabe Osho

When Osho arrived at Kenilworth Road, he did not immediately become a significant player.

However, he became a vital part of the Hatters’ squad, and his significant contributions will guarantee that he is remembered fondly in Bedfordshire.

It was gutsy of him to leave Reading.

During the later stages of his time at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, he played often under Mark Bowen.

However, his decision to relocate to Luton proved beneficial.
