Brighton & Hove Albion’s new head coach is Dario Vidošić, who previously led Melbourne City to the A-league title last season.
The 37-year-old has agreed to a contract until 2027 and will be assisted by Chris Roberts, who joins from Everton after serving as assistant manager there since 2018.
Vidosic was an Australian international with 23 caps and has played club football in China, Germany, India, New Zealand, and Switzerland.
Zoe Johnson, general director of women’s and girls’ football, told brightonandhovealbion.com: “Dario was someone who struck our eye from the outset of the process to appoint our new head coach as a young coach with a progressive approach.
“His playing style and mentality are consistent with how we want Brighton & Hove Albion teams to play. We’re very eager to begin working with Dario to prepare for the 2017 WSL season.”
