The Bengals have two starting defensive ends out due to injuries.
The Cincinnati Bengals received excellent news on their defensive end’s health.
Sam Hubbard left Sunday night’s practice after an awkward incident in which his legs were entangled with a tight end’s.
On Monday, head coach Zac Taylor said that the injury was not significant.
“Just had a little issue yesterday,” Taylor told reporters. “Clearly, it was nothing big. So he’ll just be limited or out for a few days this week.

Hubbard is not the only defensive end dealing with an injury. Trey Hendrickson also had an issue on Day 1, albeit it appears to be a minor injury, according to Taylor.
Taylor said Hendrickson is currently day-to-day.
Hubbard recently underwent offseason ankle surgery for an injury he sustained last season. The veteran defensive end was ready to get back out there healthy. This could have been a bad turn for that notion, but he appears to have been fortunate in avoiding anything that would have held him back much.
Hubbard has two seasons remaining on his current contract with Cincinnati. He will be a key member of the three-man defensive end attack that includes Hendrickson and last season’s first-round choice Myles Murphy.
Hendrickson is entering a pivotal season, hoping to secure one final large contract deal. Set to turn 30 in December while under contract until 2025,
