JUST IN : Superstar Comfidence of Coventry City spoke about his desire to play in the Premier League.

Brandon Thomas-Asante, a Ghanaian international, is targeting a Premier League career with Coventry City.

For an undisclosed cost, the 25-year-old striker left West Bromwich Albion, a team in the Championship, to join the Sky Blues this summer.

 

Against German team Werder Bremen in a preseason game, Thomas-Asante made his Coventry City debut.

 

The striker stated on the team website following his debut that he hoped to play in the Premier League and that joining Coventry would help him reach that aim.

“I have been focussing on the Premier League since the beginning. I believe that arriving here will place me in that situation. We will make it happen. That is the job for the team and the club, from the owner to the supporters,” he continued.

 

In the first game of the 2024–25 Championship season, Coventry takes on Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium, where Thomas-Asante hopes to score his first goal for the team.
