Dani Dyer is “so, so proud” of fiance Jarrow Bowen after he was named West Ham’s new captain for 2024-25.
What happened?
The England international winger has had enough to celebrate both on and off the pitch recently. He was a member of the Three Lions squad that reached the Euro 2024 final before becoming engaged to long-term partner Dyer.
THE GOSSIP
Dyer, the daughter of EastEnders star and die-hard Hammers supporter Danny, has previously stated that Bowen’s transfer to a European heavyweight would be her “biggest fear,” as she would find it difficult to cut links with her family in east London.
Did you know?
Bowen appears to have ruled out the possibility of making a transfer anytime soon. That’s because he’s taking on the job of wearing West Ham’s armband, which was previously held by French defender Kurt Zouma. Dyer expressed her pride on social media.

Bowen is following in the footsteps of Hammers stalwarts including Bobby Moore, Billy Bonds, and Mark Noble. He scored 20 goals for West Ham last season and will lead them into battle on Saturday against Aston Villa in the Premier League season opener.
