Georgia Bulldogs are now leading Auburn, Florida State, and Tennessee in a race to land top running back recruit

Georgia, Auburn, Florida State, and Tennessee are in the running for one of the top running back recruits in the nation. As Ousmane Kromah celebrated after the game on Friday, one of the opposing players approached him to greet him.

They shook hands, snapped photos, and hung out for a few minutes before heading to their respective postgame locker rooms. As the opponent walked away, he observed Kromah preparing to conduct an interview with a Georgia recruiting reporter and said, “He’s going to Georgia!” Ous is heading to Georgia!”

That opposing player is Georgia’s 5-star EDGE commit, Isaiah Gibson.Ousmane Kromah, Lee County, Running Back

Gibson and Kromah met during the recruiting process while both were high-profile targets from middle Georgia. They’ve played against each other throughout their high school careers, with Kromah winning 45-28 last week thanks to a 160-yard offensive performance.4-star RB Ousmane Kromah's recruitment is starting to come into focus - On3

Kromah also wanted to pay his respects to the Georgia commit.

“I’m not going to cap; the first time we played Warner Robins, he went insane. I won’t lie. “He used to wear 99 or something, and he was insane,” Kromah told Dawgs247. “I seen him at one recruiting trip at Georgia, and after that we’ve been close.”

It remains to be seen if Gibson’s Georgia Crystal Ball for Kromah turns out to be right.

The answer is getting close.
