BREAKING NEWS : LeBron James Sends Six-Word Message to Steph Curry on Instagram after

LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers forward, issued a message to Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry. James and Curry, who headline an NBA star-studded squad, led the United States Men’s Basketball Team to gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Curry led Team USA in scoring with 60 points in the final two games, and James won tournament MVP for his overall performance. Curry and James, widely regarded as the two greatest players of their age, showed fans what an NBA tandem could look like.

While an NBA team-up between Curry and James is implausible, speculation has been swirling since their chemistry was on full display in Paris. During the heightened speculation surrounding a potential Curry-James NBA combo, the Lakers star posted a six-word message to his Olympic colleague on Instagram. Curry captioned his image with “Enjoying life!!!” after sharing two pictures with his wife.

In the most-liked remark on Curry’s tweet, James said, “You damn right!! “The only way.” Prior to last season’s NBA trade deadline, ESPN reported that the Warriors contacted the Lakers regarding James’ availability. In a recent post, Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz advised the Warriors to reconsider James’ availability if the Lakers finished mediocre next season.

 

This Bleacher Report report is just one of several indications of growing trade interest in a Curry-James duo.

Adding fuel to the fire, FS1’s Nick Wright recently went viral with a three-team proposal that would land the two players with the San Antonio Spurs. ClutchPoints’ article on X had over 1.7 million views as fans responded to the notion that Curry and James join Victor Wembanyama.

While most fans and observers acknowledge that Curry and James would be unlikely to team up in the NBA, trade rumours have surely increased since the Olympic Games.

Despite the hoopla, James and Curry have shown a lot of public affection for one another, with the most recent example being James’ Instagram statement.
