Fulham signed Joachim Andersen from Crystal Palace for £30 million in the summer transfer window. The defender has already made his debut in the League Cup against Birmingham City. Andersen described the move to Ekstra Bladet while on international duty with Denmark.
The 28-year-old defender revealed that he left Crystal Palace due to contract disagreements. “I saw an opportunity to come in and contribute something at Fulham. I spent three years at Palace and I was incredibly happy. It was a difficult choice, and in the end it’s all about gut feeling,” he said.
