DONE DEAL : Utah Jazz Reportedly Sign Former Pacers Player

According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Utah Jazz plan to sign Isaiah Wong. Isaiah Wong was the 55th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft from Miami.

Last season, he had a two-way deal with the Indiana Pacers and appeared in one NBA game. On Sunday, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype claimed that Wong will join the Utah Jazz.

 

According to Scotto, the Utah Jazz have agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal with Isaiah Wong, as confirmed by agent Darrell Comer of @_tandemse. Wong was the 55th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and was previously a two-way player for the Indiana Pacers. “He averaged 14.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in the G League.”

He averaged 16.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.4 steals per game during his senior season, shooting 44.5% from the field and 38.4% from three in 37 games. In 30 G League regular season games (last year), Wong averaged 14.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 43.7% from the field and 28.3% from three.

At 23, he will be a fascinating talent for the Jazz to have on their roster.

The Jazz are coming off a season in which they were the Western Conference’s 12th seed, finishing 32-50.

They missed the NBA playoffs for the second consecutive season.
