Samuel has a calf issue that kept him out of last week’s game. He is labeled as questionable on the team’s official injury report, but Schultz’s report indicates that the exceptional playmaker intends to return regardless of the designation.

In the 49ers’ first two games of the season, Samuel has 13 receptions for 164 yards. He also scored a rushing touchdown and had ten first downs.
