I Finally Found the Chicago Bears ‘Bear Claw’ Giant Pretzel at Solider Field

The Chicago Bears dropped a slew of new food and drinks this season but there’s only one concession stand that carries the epic bear claw pretzel.

Yesterday was an iconic day.

Well, I don’t really know what was going on in your life or around the world, I just know what was happening at Solider Field in Chicago. The Bears won a game (and the Offense actually scored some of the points) and I managed to find the elusive giant bear claw pretzel.

Right before the first home game of the season, Soldier Field announced new menu items for this season’s Chicago Bears games.

I was bummed because I just went to the preseason game and that was BEFORE the new foods. To quote Stephanie Tanner, ‘how rude!’

However, my dad and my brother were headed to opening day so I sent them the article and asked them to please find the bear claw pretzel because I needed to know more about it!

They went to the game, searched and searched and were told that the new food was only in the United Club, which you could only enter if you had United Club tickets.

My season ticket holder dad was not happy about that. He wrote a letter to his ticket lady and she dug deep to find out that yes, there is one place you can get this epic claw inside the stadium and outside of the United Club.

It’s called the ‘Loop Landing,’ and it’s behind the concessions behind section 146.

Yes I said behind twice.

It’s like WAY back there.

Shout out to my friend Ellen who went on a hunt to find it with me yesterday. And shout out to my credit card for shelling out $40 for it (with tip).

Yeah… $40 is a lot for a pretzel, but it was the size of my head and came with three unique dipping options: fluffy cinnamon sugar, sort of chunky cheese dip and some fancy mustard with seeds.

We brought the pretzel back to the stands and shared it with 8 other bears fans and honestly it was the most delicious pretzel I’ve ever had.

The cinnamon sugar dip was amazing and the other dips were fine but not for me.

Was it worth $40? Probably not, but how much of what you buy at a stadium is worth the price? The fun we had with it was totally worth it, but I’m not paying for it next time.
