BREAKING NEWS : 4 wide receivers Falcons can realistically acquire at NFL trade deadline

The Atlanta Falcons will most likely be buyers in the 2024 NFL Trade Deadline. With the New Orleans Saints breaking apart and the Carolina Panthers on track for another disappointing season, it appears that either they or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will win the NFC South.

While Drake London has been solid and Darnell Mooney has made some spectacular plays, the Falcons could use one more big-name receiver, especially with an offense that puts three of them on the field as frequently as they do. Kirk Cousins’ offense might improve significantly with one more big name.

These four receivers are not only potential trade deadline targets for Atlanta, but they are also available without Terry Fontenot going overboard in his pursuit of them. Any defense would struggle to shut down London, Mooney, and one of this group on a constant basis.

Falcons may feasibly acquire four wide outs at the NFL trade deadline.
4. Kendrick Bourne, New England Patriots

The Patriots aren’t going anywhere this season, no matter what Drake Maye does. Bourne, who has slipped behind DeMario Douglas and rookie Ja’Lynn Polk in the pecking order, might see an increase in output in Atlanta thanks to his excellent route running and fluid hands.

3. Tyler Boyd, Tennessee Titans.

Tyler Boyd
The Titans might sell either Boyd or DeAndre Hopkins in the coming weeks, but the seasoned ex-Bengal may be a better option owing to his price tag. Still dependable after all these years, the Falcons can toss him into the slot or outside and watch him produce away from Will Levis.

2. Michael Williams, New York Jets

Jets' patient approach just fine with veteran receiver Mike Williams
Williams is on the outs with Aaron Rodgers after only catching 10 passes in six games and making several costly blunders in crunch time. He requires a change of scenery to a team that will use him more as a vertical threat and red zone ace, which is what Atlanta needs next to London with their thin receiver

1. Christian Kirk, Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jaguars may need to retool around Trevor Lawrence this offseason, and that process might begin by trading Kirk at the deadline. While he has had some drop concerns this season, he can still get open on a regular basis, all while providing the variety and consistency that Atlanta would like to see from a deep threat.
