Prohibit Patrick Bamford from playing in professional football.
Following the dismissal of their shot-stopper Asmir Begovi, a vengeful Queen Park Rangers fan has launched a petition to get Patrick Bamford banned from professional football. Having obviously followed Bamford’s career for some time, the West London whack-job, who goes by the alias ‘QPR fanbase,’ claims the one-time England star constantly dives in an attempt to get opponents sent off and sees his decision to plot a course around the charging 6′ 7 Serb as the final straw! It’s unclear whether Bamford could have stayed on his feet, but they’ve asked the EFL to ban him for life in order to maintain the game’s integrity.
England is ‘aggressively pursuing’ Leeds youngster
Wales Under-21 Manager Matty Jones disclosed last night at a news conference that England is strongly pursuing Leeds U21 player Charlie Crew for the three Lions. The 17-year-old midfielder, who signed professional terms only three months ago, has made an immediate impact this season. He has already been promoted to practice with the Leeds senior squad, alongside fellow Welsh players Dan James, Ethan Ampadu, and Joe Rodon, in addition to playing for Michael Skubala’s side. During last month’s International Break, he was also invited to practice with the senior Welsh squad.
They are not rumors, as I can affirm. “England are being very aggressive at the moment in their recruitment of players, and we have to admire that, because they’re looking to us to recruit players, and that’s a huge compliment.”With Charlie, we are confident that we have done everything within our power to provide him with the best possible platform for success.
I am certain that he will remain with Wales. We’ve had productive conversations with him and his parents, who wanted to make an informed decision based on all of the data presented to them, and you have to respect and accept that.
