Lando Norris and Max Verstappen’s title campaign has heated up in recent weeks, not because the points margin has narrowed, but because the two have been embroiled in intense battles on the track.

Despite being fined in Mexico, the Dutchman was still the winner since Norris was unable to continue and win the race. With that in mind, Norris is on the ropes, with 47 points separating him and Verstappen with four races remaining, and the Red Bull driver knows that if Norris does not score 12 points more than him each weekend, he will win the title.

As for how he goes about it, it remains to be seen. In Mexico, he realized his automobile wasn’t the fastest, so he got the pointy elbows out. Are Ferrari the dominant force in the championship?

Battles have also served to welcome Ferrari into the title fight. Ferrari was 51 points behind leaders McLaren going into Singapore, but after consecutive triumphs, the deficit has shrunk to 29, and the Italian team appears to be the favourite to close it much more. Their pace since Austin has been fantastic, and with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz both winning races, they are a team on the rise. Winning again in Sao Paulo would elevate them from title contenders to favourites, and with both drivers working together, who could bet against them?

Can Haas maintain their great form?
Speaking of Ferrari-powered teams, there is another one that is performing well, and it is not Stake.

For the first time since 2018, they will compete in three races in a row, hoping to secure their sixth place finish. Oscar Piastri has had few flaws in his Formula One career thus far, but this triple header has not been ideal.

A P5 in Austin was followed by qualifying 17th in Mexico and requiring a good recovery drive to even get in.

Piastri had finished on the podium in five of the previous six races, and even though the McLaren car had lost its outright dominance, the team needed the Australian to get back near the front if they were to hold off the pursuing Ferrari.
