Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever is still enjoying her break during the WNBA offseason. She was recently filmed vehemently expressing her unhappiness with a referee’s call during a game at her beloved alma university, Iowa. She previously made her LPGA pro-am debut at The ANNIKA in Florida. With so much free time, the 22-year-old guard has been quite active on social media. One of her friends, former Iowa baseball player Izaya Oyo-Fullard, shared a photo on Instagram with Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, and his brother, Patrick McCaffery. The elder McCaffery is currently an assistant coach at Butler, where his brother plays. Oyo-Fullard captioned it with NBA analyst Mike Breen’s renowned call of LeBron James’ iconic block on Andre Iguodala in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.
“Iguodala to Curry, back to Iguodala, go for the layup!” Oh! James has blocked me! “LeBron James with the rejection!” wrote Oyo-Fullard. Clark responded to the message with a one-word quip. “Hard,” says the WNBA’s Rookie of the Year. Connor McCaffery also responded to Oyo-Fullard’s post. “Caption goes hard,” explained the deputy tactician. Clark has recently been posting one-word replies on her friends’ social media posts, including golf star Nelly Korda and Indiana Pacers guard
Tyrese Haliburton and his girlfriend, Jade Jones.
Fans are still waiting to see if Clark will play in the pioneering Unrivaled 3-on-3 league, which begins in January.
