The January transfer window may not be the busiest for Sheffield Wednesday, but they should consider bringing in a new attacker.
Sheffield Wednesday have been extremely erratic this season, with Danny Rohl’s side failing to string together two consecutive victories all year.
One of the primary difficulties has been a lack of calmness in front of goal, and Rohl has been advised to search for attacking reinforcements in January.
However, we know Sheffield Wednesday will not have much money to spend in the New Year, therefore the Owls will have to rely on loan deals or free agents this season.

Deivid Washington is crowded out in Chelsea.

With Chelsea’s roster looking bloated, Washington has little chance of breaking through this year, and the only real hurdle to Wednesday’s ambitions of signing him is that other clubs are likely to be circling as well.
Sheffield Wednesday could risk on Ryan Kent.
The free agent market isn’t exactly brimming with top talent right now, but there are some wildcards out there looking for a new team, and Ryan Kent is one of them.
The 28-year-old was released by Fenerbahce in October and will undoubtedly be eager to get back on his feet as soon as possible.
A return to the Championship could be exactly what Kent needs, and the winger is familiar with the league, having previously played for Barnsley and Bristol City.
If Kent could play in a similar capacity to Josh Windass, more like a wide forward on the left rather than an out-and-out winger, Rohl could find a beautiful balance in his His attacking line is creative, with plenty of options either side of his main striker.
