Plymouth Argyle’s FA Cup match away to Premier League club Brentford has been scheduled for Saturday, January 11.
It will be one of ten third-round matches that begin at 3pm that afternoon, with the Pilgrims making their first visit to the 17,250-seat capacity Gtech Community Stadium in west London, which has been the Bees’ home site since 2020.
The FA Cup third round will take place over five days, commencing on Thursday, January 9, with three matches: Sheffield United vs Cardiff City, Everton vs Peterborough United, and Fulham v Watford. It will culminate on Monday, January 13 with Millwall hosting Dagenham and Redbridge.
Ticket information for Argyle’s match versus Brentford has yet to be confirmed. There will be no replays in the third round, therefore extra time and penalties may be required. The winners of the 32 ties will get £115,000 from the competition’s prize pool, while the losers will receive £25,000.
