In the last 24-48 hours, the Longhorns have had visits from Bouwmeester, former Arkansas Razorbacks sophomore transfer linebacker Brad Spence, and Purdue senior grad transfer defensive tackle Cole Brevard.

Several of those portal visitors have committed to the Longhorns and have already completed paperwork to begin the program while on campus on their excursions.

It will be a very busy few days for the Longhorns at the transfer portal. Texas is far from finished shopping for immediate upgrade-type players from the transfer market at positions of necessity on both sides of the ball during the winter window in the portal.
