West Ham United could try to recruit a “tailor-made” striker in January, with manager Julen Lopetegui looking for a fresh center-forward alternative as he tries to preserve his job and re-energize his fans.

Speaking on the Ranks FC Ultras podcast (via West Ham Zone), journalist Dean Jones thinks Ferguson is “tailor-made” and “perfect” for West Ham.
He is also sure that the east Londoners would try to entice him away from the Amex when the winter window reopens, with Lopetegui sorely in need of a new striker. “He is available on loan from Brighton in the second half of the season.
